Date set for the final jury meeting
Voting for the best landscape architectural concept for Tuchkov Buyan Park (along with the two runners-up) will take place on 28-29 May in Saint Petersburg. In correspondence with the rules of the International Union of Architects, projects will be reviewed anonymously in order to guarantee an independent and unbiased assessment. The first meeting of the competition jury will take place from 3-4 February, where 8 competitors will be selected to work on concepts for the park based on an official specification. Two of the eight competitors will be young architects and landscape architecture specialists who apply with the highest-quality and most innovative portfolios. Young teams are those whose leaders were born no earlier than 1974.

The competition jury is made up of 14 leading specialists in urban planning, parks and architecture. Among them are Saint Petersburg's chief architect, Vladimir Anatolyevich Grigoryev, former UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Culture Francesco Bandarin, member of the ISOCARP Executive Committee Dider Vancutsem, and leading landscape architects like Patrick Blanc and Ken Smith.
